Goals
The omega 7 project started with an idea, and was built on the determination to create a great game. It was met with great enmity from members of various sites, but it certainly wasn't enough to numb the determination, and drive behind the project.
Team Building - During the process of team building Omega 7 will be open to anyone with a bit of talent, and interest in helping the project succeed. We're looking for people with interest of taking on this hobby, and one day turning it into a profitable venture. Team building will happen over the map on a global scale, and will be done through various communities where talented peoples have gathered.
Community Building - Community building is the venture of attracting people to the Omega 7 community. This can be done through promoting the demo project, and displaying art that's being placed in the game, as well as a number of videos that can be placed on the YouTube account. The community can also be a place to find valuable resources that one might need in order to complete their own projects, whether it be tutorials, graphics, or other recourse related materials. Community building will also be done in large after the demo has been created. Media generated from the final product, and the demo itself will be a great way of generating traffic to the community.
Build Cut Scenes- At the moment we're looking to have in game cinematic scenes.
Seek Funding- There's a number of great sites out there like IndieGoGo which allow indie artists to start their own funding campaigns. Once we have the project well under way, or completed, we plan to seek funding to help finish the project, or help us with future endeavors.
Media- After the game is finished the next step will be to contact all the media outlets that we can come across game industry related, or other, that may run a story, or check out our project. This will help generate views for the demo/game, and bring new members to the Omega 7 team community.
Funding- If funding comes through team omega can look at hire new, fresh, and more experienced talent, as well as keep regulars on board, to create even more visually stunning games.
No Funding - If there's no funding the Omega team will have to make a decision. Do we continue to do what we love, and create with the team that we have thus far, or do we disband? It will completely be up to the team from that point.
